Before the introduction of denim manufacturing in Japan, Mr. Tsunemi had spent over twenty years, importing and mending used jeans. In 1969, he crafted the first pair of Edwin jeans, producing a sophisticated fit and wash that became the methodology behind the brands quality and aesthetic.
