We’ve finally arrived in China—with Ryan Sheckler, Ryan Decenzo, Andrew Cannon, Curren Caples, David Loy, and a bunch of other skaters—at Woodward Beijing and since we’re jetlagged out of our minds, we figured why not give you a quick tour of the new park? The place is amazing with a lakeside plaza filled with granite and marble, an outdoor vert ramp, and a huge indoor park that has everything from a ski jump into a foam pit to a gnarly street course. The official grand opening of Woodward Beijing is only days away, with a contest to kick it off, so stay tuned. Much more to come.

Powell Skateboards welcomes Chad Bartie
When he was 12, the Bones Brigade skated his backyard mini ramp and stayed at his house in Australia. Yesterday, he became the newest skater on Powell.
“Chad’s skating has always been an inspiration to me growing up, I remember watching the New Deal video 7 year Glitch over and over thinking, ‘Damn, that bow-legged Aussie has so much board control.’ Haha. It wasn’t until I finally met him that I realized he’s the full professional package. He’s super motivated, kind-spirited, generous, extremely humble and most importantly, genuinely loves skateboarding. You see a lot of pros fall off their game as they mature, but Chad’s one of the few that has kept his skills progressing and is skating the best he ever has. So as a friend and now teammate, I’m beyond stoked to have him join up with the Powell family.”—Jordan Hoffart

DVS’ Grip It And Phlip It Tour Video—Daniel Goes Home
Back in December of 2009, DVS riders Chico Brenes, Daniel Castillo, Kenny Hoyle, Zered Bassett, Jeron Wilson, and Torey Pudwill headed south of the equator to the island nation of the Philippines for a tour. Little did they know that this adventure would prove to be one of the wildest journeys of all time. Not only did veteran DVS pro Daniel Castillo get to shred some of the best skate spots in his native country, but the rest of the crew got to experience the Philippines at it’s finest. From jungle demos and police escorts to epic spots and bizarre local cuisine, the DVS crew picked up tour memories they won’t soon forget. Watch it here.
